We have used many different soldering guns and this by far compares right up there with your higher end ones. It heats up quickly and sits in the stand great so you do not have to worry about it falling off. You just bend the stand up to the position that works well for you to easily grab your soldering gun out of and it rest it back in place. If your looking to purchase a new one, I would recommend this kit.
